Refugees Rum by Ljubomir Stanisic
Refugees Rum is the result of a blend signed by Chef Ljubomir Stanisic, aged for two years in ZIMBRO, in French oak barrels where was previously wine from the Douro; in others Scottish whiskey and, later, sour cherry. Produced from sugar cane from Syria (certification of origin) – it migrated along the Mediterranean Sea to the south of Spain, where it was distilled, and finally arrived in Portugal – this is a rum of marked palate of noble wood, with sweetness, elegance and subtlety.
Refugees Rum aims to be a tribute to all those who are forced to seek refuge in another country, so a part of the value of sales will revert to an association in support of this cause.
Limited and numbered edition of 1454 bottles.
